THE TANTALLON BASS ROCK FUND

The Tantallon Bass Rock Fund is a long only fund investing in Asia Pacific ex-Japan region. It is an all cap, bottom up portfolio, driven by a relative value approach. The manager intends to run a concentrated portfolio of the best Asian stock ideas of 25-60 names targeting a medium term holding, with an active and opportunistic approach.

The Fund can hold up to 100% of its assets in cash or cash equivalents in anticipation of weak market condition. The Fund can apply leverage up to a maximum of 10%.

Without an ability to be short or to hedge via options and futures, it is anticipated that the Bass Rock Fund will have higher levels of performance volatility, but over the long-run, should demonstrate superior risk-adjusted returns to the Asian growth theme. Via a long-only strategy we are facilitating a ‘purer-play’ on the Asia growth theme, investing in the Asia-Pacific universe of listed securities. The fund leverages off the existing investment process of the Tantallon Fund, generating consistent long-term returns for investors based on structural and cyclical themes.
